Duchovny wanted million damages

Directed by two-time Academy Award-winning director Robert Wise and starring Oscar-winner Patricia Neal and Michael Rennie, this 1951 classic story of hope and peace is widely acclaimed as one of the most influential and thought-provoking science-fiction films of all time and can now be seen like never before in high definition. Duchovny, 48,wanted $1 million in damages. MTV was always looking for teen-friendly film properties and Gale felt the book had a great mix of genre elements notably the vampire angle and a surprisingly sweet take on teen romance. And last night Beyonce Knowles was all about paying tribute to the final TRL, Total Finale Live. That had been the one thing missing so far this year. Longtime traditional country-western singer Reba McEntire and relative newcomer Kelly Clarkson, who won American Idol in 2002, sounded as if theyd grown up singing together, and when McEntire said, Weve been havin a blast, it was impossible not to believe her.
